Overview

The successful people will have experience as a Drainage Engineer, (Plumbing/Water mains exp/HGV2 licence, an advantage) and will possess an outstanding positive attitude towards Presentation, Health and Safety, and Customer service. Your communication skills will ensure that customers end their experience of the company’s service feeling delighted and willing to recommend you to others.

You will be used to working in a similar position within the industry and will therefore understand the requirements and constraints placed upon this role both in terms of Health and Safety and customers’ expectations. You will also understand the need to maintain an accurate and detailed documentation trail.

A good level of literacy and numeracy is necessary as well as the mechanical aptitude required for working independently on site.

You will ideally have a High Pressure Water Jetting qualification (considerable experience as an alternative), CCTV experience, a comprehensive knowledge of drainage systems, and a full clean driving license.

The role commands £30k – £45k, including a share of out-of-hours, on-call coverage with your colleagues.
