Reactive Drain Engineer – Temporary Initially with opportunity of Full time

As our Reactive Drainage Engineer, you will operate a jetter van in and around our properties in London. Your daily responsibilities will consist of jetting internal drain works, external drain works and resolving other related drainage issues such as blocked sinks and toilets and pre planned maintenance. An immediate start is available for this role. Having an existing knowledge of jetting machinery and a clean driving licence is required and training qualifications relating to High Pressure water jetting be desirable.

We are a well-established, yet still dynamic and growing Property Management and Maintenance Company based in SW London but operating throughout the whole of the city. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to undertake all relevant Drainage works at our. We are looking for someone who is adaptable wants to help the company grow with a can-do attitude. Duties / Role

·       Perform daily Drainage visits based on the schedule provider by your scheduler and work in accordance with the job description.

·       Provide quotes and report any further maintenance problems that need attention.

·       Produce accurate reports on completed jobs and report back to the office using company’s device communication system.

·       Safe Driving skills are essential as well as good knowledge of London

·       Experience of being in a similar senior position is desirable

We are looking for individuals with the following skills and experience:

·       2-3 Years Drainage experience

·       Good references

·       Full UK clean Driving License (essential).

·       Knowledge of Jetter van pack

·       CSCS card (desirable – will train if need be).

·       Professional customer service skills.

·       Good communication skills, both written and oral.

·       High attention to detail.

·       Ability to build strong working relationships.

·       Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

·       Team working.

·       Any other reasonable duties as required

Salary, Benefits & Hours of Work

·       Negotiable (dependent on experience) + Overtime.

·       20 days holidays (plus bank holidays).

·       Company van, Training

·       Standard hours – 5 days a week 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday mainly but some weekends may be needed

·       You may be required to undertake overtime on certain occasions.
